She is a journalist and editor and one of the co-founders of the Jummar news website. Her journalistic work focuses on social issues, particularly women's and children's affairs.

She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Baghdad. Previously, she worked as a journalist for Al-Mada newspaper, an editor for a women-focused website affiliated with the Iraqi Al-Amal Association, and a writer for the Lebanese platform Daraj. She also served as a correspondent and program presenter for Al Arabiya channel.
